PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Magped SPORT2 Pedals – Universal Magnetic System for MTB, E-Bike, Trail, and Gravel

The magped SPORT2 pedals combine the freedom of flats with the traction and efficiency of a clip system: a neodymium magnet interacts with the metal plate under the shoe (2-bolt SPD-type attachment), offering stable engagement while pedaling and immediate lateral release when needed.

Strengths

  • Natural safety: foot free to exit laterally without forced rotations.
  • Rounder pedaling: support even in the upward recall phase.
  • Versatility: Ideal for trail, all-mountain, gravel and e-bikes.
  • Adjustable grip: interchangeable pins on the platform.
  • Walkability: thin plate, not bulky on the ground.

Technical features

Shoe compatibility 2-screw attachment (SPD) with dedicated plate included
Pedal body CNC machined aluminum
Axis CrMo steel
Platform dimensions approx. 104 × 92 × 18 mm (without pin)
Magnetic forces 100 N / 150 N / 200 N (depending on weight and use)
Approximate weight (pair) ~420–458 g depending on the magnet

Guide to choosing a magnet

  • 100 N : light bikers / easy trail and gravel use.
  • 150 N : multipurpose MTB / e-MTB use.
  • 200 N : higher body weight, technical terrain, all-mountain/enduro.

  • 100N for cyclists <65 kg
  • 150N for cyclists 65-90 kg
  • 200N for cyclists >75 kg and ENDURO

Recommended shoes:

Assembly and adjustment

  1. Fix the plate to the sole (2 screws, SPD standard) and screw the desired pins onto the pedal.
  2. With your shoe on the pedal, adjust the height of the magnet until the engagement is firm but the lateral release remains natural.
  3. Periodically check the tightness of the plate screws and pins.

Maintenance

  • Rinse after mud rides and lightly lubricate bearings.
  • Replacement of pins, magnets or plates when worn (spare parts available).
